Rose Syrup Recipe
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup rose petals dried
Rose Petal Milk Tea Recipe
- 1 cup milk or soy/almond milk
- 2 bag black tea
Prepare the Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, bring the syrup ingredients to a boil.
1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup rose petals
Reduce to low heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, strain and cool in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Prepare the Tea
While the syrup is cooling, prepare black tea by adding the tea bags to boiling water and letting them steep for 3-5 minutes.
2 bag black tea
Pour milk into a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent a skin from forming on top and to ensure even heating.
1 cup milk
Heat until the milk is warm, but not boiling. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes.
Combine milk, tea, and 2 tbsp rose syrup. Stir to create a delicious herbal latte, and enjoy!
